After many years of trial practice with two Lincoln law firms, Robert W. Shively founded the litigation boutique firm of Shively Law Group in 2002. Since that time, the firm has represented local, regional, and national clients in litigated matters, and its lawyers have tried over fifty jury trials in Nebraska courts. The firm’s team, which includes experienced and highly competent paralegals, continues to provide legal services to individuals and businesses throughout the country.

Mr. Shively’s trial practice focused on personal injury and wrongful death cases, including motor vehicle, premises liability, and product liability matters. He began serving as a mediator in 2000, and has since successfully mediated more than 1000 disputes.  Mr. Shively’s legal career has included leadership positions in numerous professional associations, and continuing legal education speaking engagements throughout Nebraska and the United States.
